Who said a purple sweater has to be careful?
Little red foxes wander in a ring around the neck, surrounded by turquoise, mustard yellow and cream white. Solva is the sweater that makes an ordinary jeans day feel a little more fun.
That's Why You'll Love It
-
The foxes frame the face
The row of red foxes sits just below the neck and draws the eye upward. It's a pattern with humor, but it looks thoughtful and not childish. -
Purple that brightens gray days
The deep purple base color is joined by turquoise, gold and cream in the pattern borders. The colors belong together, so the sweater feels lively without being too much. -
The zigzag border returns at the cuffs
At the cuffs runs a border in turquoise and gold that echoes the pattern on the surface. Fold the cuffs up a little and it shows up extra clearly. -
Lovely with a striped shirt underneath
Let the collar and the small ruffle cuff of a blue and white striped shirt peek out. The narrow stripes calm the pattern and give a fresh contrast to the purple. -
Relaxed fit with soft edges
The neckline trim, cuffs and hem are ribbed in the same purple and give the sweater a tidy finish. The sleeves have a slight volume that sits comfortably, and the sweater is just as lovely with blue jeans, a cognac-brown leather-look bag and suede-effect boots.
A sweater that makes both Mondays and weekend walks feel a little more festive, all fall and winter.
